Some projects are born with a perfect business plan. Casa Palma wasn't one of them. Our story began in 2019, in the midst of one of the world's most difficult times: the pandemic. We were looking for a place to breathe tranquility, cultivate the land, and share time with our family. What started as a small ranch built with palm planks and coconut wood ended up becoming the refuge we now share with the world.
Our greatest achievement has never been building villas; our greatest achievement has been building this dream together.
One question that changed everything
In late 2024, while we were planning to build a simple wood-burning stove, a friend asked us a question that changed our course: “Why don’t you turn this building into a villa for short-term bookings?”
In just 25 days, we finished the first villa with our own hands. We immediately welcomed our first guest for 43 days. That's when we realized that other people were also looking for the same thing we were: peace, nature, and reconnection.
Hands-on work and a love for detail
Behind every wall, every electrical installation, the plumbing system, and the solar panels, there are no outside contractors. There are early mornings of work, constant learning, and the tireless effort of a couple walking in the same direction. At Casa Palma, we have built every space with our own hands, combining the authenticity of the Dominican countryside with modern comfort so that every guest feels right at home.
A space that evolves with you
“All we need here is a pool,” a guest once told us. And we listened. We redesigned the property to create our iconic beach-style pool, the gardens, the gazebo, the solar-powered utility room, and high-speed Starlink internet. Every improvement stems from a conversation and the suggestions of our guests. Casa Palma belongs not only to those of us who built it, but to every visitor who has left their mark here.
